Launch of Tresillian Tasmanian Parenting Support Line

Guy Barnett, Minister for Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing

The Tasmanian Liberal Government is supporting more mums and bubs with the statewide Tasmanian Parenting Support Line to be operational from today (July 1), as part of our important partnership with Tresillian Family Care Centres.

Tresillian Vision — Every child has the best possible start in life.

Tresillian Mission — Tresillian is an early parenting service offering families guidance in the early years of their child’s life; supporting parents with breastfeeding, nutrition and settling baby, as well as screening and supporting parents with their own mental health.

Tasmanian parents can now free call 1300 TAS BUB (1300 827 282) between 7.00am and 11.00pm, seven days a week – where they can receive telephone support and guidance from a specialist Tresillian child and family health nurse.
