The B4 Making Marks Exhibition has come to an end with it’s final leg in the Huon Valley.  The exhibition celebrated the art of very young Tasmanian children, birth – 4 years, showcasing their ideas through their mark making.

The exhibition was overwhelmingly well received “Wonderful to see young children’s thinking so respectfully presented”, “Great to see creativity being encouraged”, “Communication of these early years – sublime”.

The next stage of the exhibition is returning the artworks to the artists and their families with 31 of the pieces to be acquired by the University of Tasmania to form part of their research and study resources. An incredible legacy gifted by these young artists to current and emerging students and researchers of the amazing life’s talents and capabilities of Tasmania’s youngest citizens.  B4 will update when this momentous handover event occurs.

B4 Making Marks is presented by the B4 Early Years Coalition and partners.
